Mathnasium of Apex has a dynamic role for someone who will be a positive and enthusiastic presence when welcoming students and parents to the center, answering their questions, and quizzing kids on math facts throughout the hour (in a fun way of course!).
We want to give people the best possible experience from the moment they walk in until the moment they walk out.
Daily duties and responsibilities include :
- greeting and signing in students and parents,
- scheduling appointments and meetings
- ensuring the safety of students entering and leaving the center
- answering calls
- returning emails and messages
- scheduling and coordinating office activities
- explaining the program to people who call or come in to inquire
- quizzing students on basic math facts with flash cards or dice to make it engaging
- playing uno or other number related games with students as needed
- helping in-center as needed
We are looking for someone who will be with us a minimum of 12 months and can work a consistent schedule.
Hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 4 : 15pm-7 : 45pm (14 hours each week).
