Virtual Primary Therapist - Outpatient Program
Mission Connection is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team at AMFM Healthcare. The Primary Therapist will provide individual and group therapy to adults in our virtual IOP treatment program.
This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that support clients in achieving their recovery goals.

Mission Connection’s multidisciplinary team delivers daily group therapy with licensed therapists, weekly psychiatric care including medication management, and weekly individual therapy.
Within individual therapy, we develop and implement a person-centered treatment plan tailored to meet your needs. Our group activities feature Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psycho-Educational groups, Solution Brief Focused Therapy, and other specific modalities that target your mental health symptoms.
Mission Connection extends A Mission for Michael’s compassion-driven, evidence-based clinical program. Our innovative hybrid model seamlessly blends in-person and telehealth services, ensuring you can access the care you need, wherever you are.
We provide mental health support to adults grappling with primary mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
Mission Connection empowers these individuals to connect with their clinical team when, where, and how it’s most convenient for them.

Monday-Friday, 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm.
Compensation
$75,000-$80,000 annually.

Qualifications :
Minimum Education Requirement : Masters degree or higher in a relevant course of study at an accredited university.
Acceptable Credentials (Minimum) - Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Mental Health Counselor
Acceptable Credentials (Desired) - LSWAIC, LMHCA, LMFTA. LMFT, LMHS, LICSW.
Must have active registration with Department of Health
Hands-on experience in Groups (process, psycho educational, and topic), Family Therapy, Individual Therapy (wide range of modalities accepted), and working with clients with addiction issues.

Successful completion of Criminal Background Checks through DOH WATCH, in addition to passing the ADP Selective Screening Services background check.
Responsibilities and Job Duties :
Conduct clinical evaluation, biopsychosocial assessment, client diagnosis, and interpretive summary. Prepare person-centered treatment plans, case management, consultation, education, and referral as needed.
Provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed.
Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions and group therapy.
Provide services in accordance to organization’s policies and procedures and established Mental Health and Substance Abuse Standards as well as within the scope of practice of the therapist.
Evaluate the individual and family systems as well as assess clients functioning within work, family, and routines of daily living and identify areas needing continued support, resources, and treatment in order to assist clients.
Maintain Electronic Health Records to reflect the course of treatment and provide required documentation.
Prepare pre-certification / authorization information to insurance utilization review team and subsequent concurrent review (continued stay) clinical reports per medical necessity criteria.
Provide emergency crisis services during work hours and after hours as assigned.
Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, training, and other activities, which ensure effective and efficient functioning of clinical operations.
Adhere to organizational standards and policies and procedures, code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures and exercise professionalism at all times.
