Job Summary :
Installation, repair, and process engineering support of Company large automation equipment
Key Responsibilities :
- Field Installation of Company large automation equipment throughout North America
- Field Troubleshoot, Repair, Training, and Process support of Company Automation equipment.
- Field Custom Modification & Retrofit of Company Automation equipment.
- Engineering Level Technical Phone Support.
- Engineering Level data collection including written and oral reports.
- Comprehension of Electrical schematic, blueprint, and mechatronics drawings.
- Capability of working in both team and independent work environments with limited supervision.
- Strong verbal communication skills with both customer and other company Technical Depts.
- Knowledge of Windows and be comfortable installing software.
- Flexibility to travel and perform job assignments at short notice.
- Strong Aptitude with current computing applications and networking processes.
- Travel throughout East Coast states - Monday-Friday; approximately 75%
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
- Strong aptitude with electrical and mechanical diagnostics / repairs.
- Aptitude with modern PC applications & networking concepts.
- Employee is required daily to stand, walk, and work with hand and automated tools.
- Employee is required to climb or balance, reach for controls, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and stand for long periods.
- Individual may be required to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
- Moderate noise level.
- Responsibilities will include at all times representing company in a professional manner.
- Individual must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- This position requires knowledge of general office procedures and computer literacy.
- The employee must also be a team player that is capable of acting in a manner that maintains harmony and cooperation within the company and customers alike.
- Individual must possess strong analytical skills.
- Must have the flexibility for frequent travel on short notice
- Should expect about 75% travel with this position.
