Position Overview :
The position is responsible for developing / training all restaurant managers and all managers in training in the assigned market.
Works to maintain training certified restaurants and ensures that employees receive proper tools to aid in their development.
Conducts onsite visits in the field and provides coaching and personal instruction to improve areas of opportunity in the restaurants.
Conducts classroom based training. Works to understand how to analyze multiple business metrics and put it into action plans to improve the restaurants.
Responsible for improving overall guest satisfaction, speed of service, cleanliness, friendliness, in addition to other operations related performance metrics.
Allocates work as a team leader; may check on completion / quality.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for maintaining a certain number of certified training stores
- Responsible for creating a training curriculum for restaurant managers as defined by a series of core competencies
- Responsible for delivering consistent reports that track Popeyes Academy completion and OSAT metrics
- Responsible for updating and rolling out training seminars and presentations to field employees
- Responsible for giving coaching and feedback to restaurant management
Essential Duties :
- Visits restaurant managers to review restaurant performance
- Develops and trains restaurant managers
- Assesses and evaluates the manager's level to fulfill manager responsibilities
- Coaches employees to improve restaurant performance, impact, overall profitability and operations scores
- Implements tools and systems in the restaurants to help improve the business' operations
- Presents training to restaurant leaders
Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of company restaurant systems
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities and projects; skilled in interacting effectively under difficult circumstances and tight deadlines
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether orally or in writing
- 2 to 4 years previous experience; specific experience in Franchise Operations preferred
