About the Role :

This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis.

At Fubo, we pride ourselves on being a data-driven organization. The Data Engineering team builds systems that form the backbone of our data collection and distribution capabilities;

driving business critical functions such as Business Analytics, Personalization, Product analysis, Marketing & Finance, and Ads teams.

This team is responsible for collecting all first party data, data validation and quality, data warehousing, third party data integrations, internal systems data integrations, analytics engineering, and certain financial reporting systems.

Fubo is searching for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer who excels at processing large-scale data with lightning speed.

You'll have the chance to build highly-available systems that are vital to our organization and drive advancements in ML / AI initiatives.

As part of Fubo's Data Engineering team, you will :

• Continuously improve existing services
• Lead design, implementation, and rollout of complex systems
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Help mentor junior engineers

Our tech stack :

• Go / Golang with gomod
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Apache Beam with Java / Scala / Python
• Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL
• Google Cloud - PubSub, BigTable, BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience delivering working software
• Experience in processing and serving data at scale
• Proficiency in writing clean, well-tested code
• Familiarity with Big Data pipelines for both batch and real-time streaming
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional credentials evaluation

Nice to have :

• Experience working with data scientists to produce machine learning algorithms
• Experience with GCP

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $175,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $215,000 per year.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits.

Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location, and other business considerations.
