Job Title : Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Job Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Mix of 8 & 10-hour days (07 : 00 - 17 : 30 on 4x10-hour shifts; 07 : 00 - 15 : 30 on 5x8-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours.
If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience required
License : IL license needed for most roles; pending licenses may be accepted situationally
Certifications : ARDMS, BLS, RDCS required
Must-Have :
- Ability to perform both adult and pediatric echocardiograms
- Hospital experience in ICU / ED settings
Job Description :
- Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract, Right Ventricular Outflow Tract, Routine Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, and Treadmill Stress Echo.
- Siemens experience preferred.
- Follow isolation precautions and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations every other or every third weekend and one day during the week, based on departmental needs.
- Ability to float within the assigned hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
- Discuss scheduling requests and block schedules with the manager.
- Must have required skills and experience with pediatric echos, including M-Mode and Portable Studies.
- Comply with all fingerprinting requirements three business days prior to compliance deadlines.
- Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours.
- The position requires adhering to charting processes using Cerner.
