Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring an Associate Systems Engineer to facilitate the government customer's management dataflows associated with a large High Performance Computing (HPC) related program.
This program is on the cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support.
Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Program Integrator will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program.
The selected Systems Engineer will provide support that includes customer service, dataflow paths, organize dataflow implementation, identify ways to improve dataflow implementation and modernization efforts, and prioritize the customer's needs based on larger strategic priorities. They will :
- Provide support to a data flow and routing solutions (DFRS) systems engineering team.
- Managed Jira ticket queue for development lab requests.
- Provide overall system engineering expertise in the architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and / or implementation, or testing for the program.
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
- Documenting / diagraming interfacing systems.
Qualifications
- Active TS / SCI with poly clearance required.
- A High School Diploma or GED plus five (5) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university (no additional experience required)

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
