Box Truck Delivery Driver Full-Time Great Temp to Hire Opportunity!1st Shift : 08 : 00 AM 05 : 00 PM(or close)Monday - Friday (Must be available to work overtime) Pay Rate : $Get paid every Friday! Qualified Candidate Responsibilities
- Box Truck Driving
- Transport finished goods and raw materials to job sites
- Able to load and unload on the truck (construction material Heavy lifting)
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work / rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel / toll receipts
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
Requirements
- 5-year Box Truck experience
- DOT medical card on hand (Required) NOT EXPIRED
- Clean MVR
- Ability to maintain a driving record which meets federal, state and company standards is required
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s License (Class "C')
