Manufacturing Process Engineer
Responsible for all electronic manufacturing engineering development and implementation for production
equipment such as circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses.
Develops cost estimates for circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses. Standard labor time and costed bills of materials by evaluating the customer’s documentation package.
Responsibilities :
- Resolves technical problems encountered during the production process.
- Creates and maintains manufacturing visual aids and routings, bills of material, detailed assembly and inspection instructions, and visual aids as required to process manufacturing orders.
- Creates tooling and fixturing to facilitate production.
- Review engineering ECO packages for signoff.
- Reviews, approves, and / or develops specifications for purchases
- Reviews requests for quotation ensuring information is a complete-statement of work, quantity, and special instructions.
- Evaluate the estimated cost vs. The actual cost of past production orders and correct routing times and BOMs to reflect data accurately.
Experience :
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- College degree preferred
