Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facility Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, exceptional customer service, and effective leadership to drive operational success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quality Management :
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Customer Service :
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the warehouse team, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve service levels and satisfaction.
- Leadership and Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments to achieve operational objectives.
- Operational Efficiency :
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational performance.
- Safety and Compliance :
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety training and drills to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly and effectively.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience in facility management, preferably in a 3PL environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as required by the job.
