This is a Part Time Split Shift Position
7-9am and 1 : 30-3 : 30pm

We are looking for a Driver of a 12-passenger van / mini-bus, driving students to and from the Before & After School program and engaging students in learning for the remainder of the shift.
A typical day for a Van Driver will include :
- Driving company vehicle to and from schools and / or field trips.
- Monitoring the behavior of all children in the vehicle.
- Operating vehicle safely at all times in accordance with all traffic and driving laws.
- Checking the condition of vehicle to ensure that everything is in working order.

Our learning centers are open between the hours of 7 : 00 a.m. 5 : 30 p.m., Monday - Friday. We have locations across Rhode Island.
We have full time positions or part time positions (with flexible schedules available). Benefits vary for full time / part time positions.
Requirements :
We are willing to train the right person! Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with School Age children.
We are looking for someone who has the following skills :
- A personal demeanor that is warm and friendly.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Team-oriented and willing to work with others.
A Chauffeur License is needed for this position. If you are interested - we will pay for the right candidate to get it!
Education Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
- CPR / First Aid certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Able to engage in physical exercise with children (walking, running, crawling, bending, twisting).
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Other Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English, bilingual encouraged to apply.
- Must pass national criminal background / fingerprints check.
- Must pass Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Clearance Request (CPS).
