General Definition : This position is responsible for providing advance on- site medical triage for Remington Park guests and team members.
As an EMS team member, they will be responsible for keeping all certifications and training requirements up to date and actively participate in the property safety and health protocols.
Essential Job Functions :
- Ensures effective communication between all areas of the building and casino, as it relates to the guest experience and medical services.
- Patrols the casino and adjacent buildings.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Prepares medical incident reports in reporting software.
- Completes jockey injury reports and forwards all pertinent information to the safety manager.
- Responds to injured and ill guests and team members while on duty, and administers emergency medical care within the limits of EMT training and certification.
- Reports each incident of medical emergency services performed, and maintains accurate records of services.
- Inventories and requisitions ALS emergency medical supplies and drugs.
- Patrols facility to identify and document fire and safety violations and takes immediate corrective action when possible.
- Ensures automated external defibrillators are in working condition.
- Operates Ambulance onsite for Racing Operation requirements.
- Communicates with Security Management all periodic maintenance and repairs for the track ambulance.
- Ensures that the track ambulance is properly supplied for all race related activity.
- Reviews all medical reports for errors and forwards to Security Captain for approval.
- Patrols facility to identify and document fire and safety code violations and takes immediate corrective action where possible.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
