Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Santa Clara, California. The SLP will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students within a public school setting.
This role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- California Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing or eligibility to obtain this credential.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

- Fingerprint clearance and background check.
- Tuberculosis (TB) test clearance.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
