Requirements :
Minimum three years of non-linear video editing experience (including color correcting and audio sweetening)
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Premiere Pro
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GoogleDrive applications, and electronic communications
Experience working in Mac environment
Ability to update and maintain integrated tracking system for a complex workflow and expansive project
Ability to work independently, with low-level supervision
Curiosity about secular Jewish culture and Yiddish
Commitment to Project mission
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous work experience with digital collections or archives
Previous work experience with digital storytelling
Film production experience
Audio engineering experience
Social media content creation and management experience
Supervisory experience
Familiarity with Yiddish, Jewish history and culture
Proficiency in any of the following software programs employed currently or historically by the Project : Dropbox, AfterAffects, FileMaker Pro, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Media Encoder, Compressor, Handbrake, Final Cut Pro 7, Wondershare, ProTools, Avid, Drobo Dashboard, Carbon Copy Cloner, ClipWrap, BagIt, DiskTracker, Slack, OneDrive
Physical Demands and Work Environment : The position requires working at a desk and using a computer for prolonged periods of time.
The position also requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching. Work will usually be performed in an office environment and museum spaces.
