We are looking for a dedicated Medication Management Alignment Analyst like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medication Alignment Analyst will support the data and analytics needs of the Medication Management Alignment team. This individual will actively participate in the development of new systems and reporting templates to support the alignment of medication use across multiple technologies.

The Medication Management Alignment Analyst will provide standard monitoring reports and ad hoc reports as requested based upon external and internal data needs.

The individual serving in this role will become a subject matter expert in data related to multiple systems including automated dispensing cabinets, IV pumps, compound verification software, clinical pharmacy surveillance software and electronic health records.

This position will support ad hoc reporting and distribution of reporting related to medication alignment and standardization throughout the organization.

What you will do in this role includes :

  • Ensure a standardized and consistent approach to analysis of medication data including written documentation of processes and data results
  • With direction and supervision, acts as subject matter specialist to assist in requirements gathering and analysis with other clinical and IT&G team members to design and implement requirements to support consistent, reliable data retrieval from EDW and other systems as necessary.
  • Works to think analytically and critically to lead reporting standardization and automating efforts promoting efficiency and accuracy in data retrieval
  • Present data formally and informally and facilitate discussion regarding data exchange
  • Provide moderate analysis as requested by Group, Division, and Corporate leaders
  • Ensure collaborative working relationships with Corporate departments, divisions, and facilities
  • Use and support database applications and analytical tools, evaluate data quality, applications, and workflow functions
  • Format, run, distribute, and interpret reports using the available tools
  • With direction and supervision, provide in depth what if analyses of data exchange change requests.
  • Escalate to and collaborate with key stakeholders on program issues and risks to identify solutions
  • Experience in enterprise-level data retrieval and analysis including implementation and enhancement of processes to ensure data accuracy and efficient retrieval

What qualifications you will need :

  • Bachelors degree Required
  • 3+ years experience with relational database management systems including internal and external databases Required
  • Demonstrated oral, written and technical communication skills Required
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Work, and Access
