Clay Cooley is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Consultant to join our fast-growing team. The Parts Counter Consultant is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods.
This individual is responsible for customer service and retail sales in the Parts Department and must be meticulous, prioritizing, and team-oriented while having the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job functions include but not limited to :
- Offers assistance to all customers (retail and body shop) in selecting components for their automotive needs. The Parts Counter Consultant informs customers of companion parts requirements and warrants that the complete product line is available.
- Answers calls requesting price quotes and other pertinent information. The Parts Counter Consultant ensures back-ordered components are delivered to the warehouse.
- Evaluates Body Shop estimates to ensure the correct components are delivered and pricing is consistent with the estimate.
The Parts Counter Consultant confirms that all related items are tagged with customer names and job number.
- Provides parts orders from numerous departments and confirms the accuracy of the order against the invoice. The Parts Counter Consultant provides excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Recognizes the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to meet productivity objectives and guarantees the continuous flow of materials in the supply chain.
Employee Prerequisites :
- Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
- Stands, walks, or sits for a long period without resting. (Up to 5 hours) Must have the capability to lift to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a group.
- Basic math techniques include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Previous automotive parts sales experience is required. Pay based on experience.
