We are seeking a dedicated Third Grade Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024 / 2025 school year.

Position : Third Grade Teacher

Location : Charleston, SC

Start Date : August 2024

Contract Type : Full-time, Academic Year

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum objectives.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and accommodate various learning styles.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and parents / guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents / guardians to support student learning and well-being.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification / license in Elementary Education (South Carolina certification preferred).
• Previous experience teaching elementary students, particularly in third grade or within the primary grades.
• Strong understanding of child development and best practices in elementary education.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
