Job Description :
Saab, Inc. is searching for a Senior Facilities Specialist to assist with maintaining daily operations of the physical facilities at the Syracuse, NY national headquarters.
As a Facilities Specialist, you will be a part of a great employee culture while mainly working inside in a clean and professional work environment.
Responsibilities will include :
Facility operations and maintenance
Janitorial work as required to support plant maintenance operations
General plumbing work to keep utilities flowing
Painting and sheetrock work
Moving and setting up office furniture and equipment
Heavy lifting is required. There is no expected travel required for this role.
Compensation Range : $24.09-$28.89
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education / training.
Skills and Experience :
5 years’ experience in the general construction industry
General carpentry work and construction skills.
General mechanical tradesman skills to support facility operations and maintenance
HVAC Knowledge with troubleshooting skills
Electrical troubleshooting skills with experience in industrial electricity working with complex circuits
Citizenship Requirements :
Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
