We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us as we take Microsoft Teams, the fastest growing application in the history of Microsoft, and GroupMe, the go-to communication tool for college students, to the next level.

We are looking for a creative, self-starting, and visionary product leader to support our customer activation and marketing strategy for the consumer-facing version of Microsoft Teams and GroupMe.

This role will execute on our approach and associated program to bring new customers onto the platform through hands on activation and reach via outbound marketing.

They will work closely with the product and design teams to provide a unified approach to how we acquire net-new customers, make them successful on the product, and showcase their stories.

This person will also partner with our marketing team to ensure existing Microsoft channels are high performing and relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business goals and user needs, collect requirements, and partner closely with the product team to make customers successful.
  • Formalize and execute the go to market strategy for new consumer offerings.
  • Drive outbound facing communications and new ways to reach customers successfully.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure our approach fits with the Teams and M365 brands.
  • Work closely with designers to ensure the outbound facing material fit with the product.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product / service / project / program management or software development or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of product experience with a focus on customer activation, marketing, and / or go-to-market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Innate curiosity and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous andrapidly changingstartup environment.
  • Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and biasforaction are very welcome.
  • Customer-focused approach to design with solid understanding of user experience possibilities.
  • Product management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills with a track record of managing complex projects with many partners.
  • Written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
