Position : General Facilities Maintenance
Schedule :
- Working Hours : M-F 6am-2 : 30pm
- Compensation : $18 per hour
Duties :
General facility maintenance workers, also known as general maintenance and repair workers, are responsible for the upkeep and repair of a facility's physical assets and infrastructure.
This includes the interior, exterior, and vital systems of a commercial building, office space, or industrial site.
- Inspecting and identifying : Equipment or machines that need repair
- Troubleshooting : Issues to determine the necessary repairs
- Planning : Repair work using blueprints or equipment manuals
- Performing repairs : That don't require a specialized technician, such as drywall or plaster repair, painting, furniture assembly, and plumbing repairs
- Performing routine maintenance : On building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Cleaning and maintaining : Indoor areas, such as floors, windows, and walls, and outdoor facilities, such as landscaping and parking lots
- Ordering supplies and materials : Needed for repairs and maintenance
