About The Position
Job Title : Dialysis Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Hemodialysis (HD) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 to 12 hours, Monday through Saturday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience License : Registered Nurse (RN) license required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have : - Competency with both acute and chronic HD patients - Experience with both inpatient and outpatient HD - Familiarity with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Experience with Tablo Dialysis Machines - Prior travel nursing experience preferred Job Description : - Provide comprehensive care to dialysis patients, both acute and chronic - Conduct dialysis treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings - Participate in a call period of one week or 120 hours, potentially on call for 2 weeks in a 13-week rotation - Ensure patient safety and monitor for any complications during hemodialysis - Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic EMR Note : Please ensure all required demographic information is complete and accurate for consideration.
