SUMMARY
An ideal candidate will be interested in working with the populations described as well as open to engaging in ongoing training and development and participating in interdisciplinary consultation.
They will approach communication and collaboration with flexibility, and curiosity. They will embrace values that include being supportive of individual differences in ways of doing that are informed by research and evidence-based practice.
Finally, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with rapid change navigating communication, and engaging in a primarily remote setting.
This is an hourly employee(w-2) position, will be building your caseload to a minimum of 16 billable hours on average per week up to a rolling average of 26 billable hours per week.
We also offer supervision with ongoing education and training support and resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a conferred Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, clinical mental health, career counseling, or social work that included a clinical counseling internship, or similar.
- Must be provisionally licensed or fully licensed in the state of Colorado to provide Behavioral Health Medicine as a professional counselor or social worker.
- 3-5 years in direct support helping role within human services, education, behavioral health, public health, vocational rehabilitation, or a similar role where you were required to provide one-to-one coaching, training, counseling, or similar support as a subject matter expert to a diverse population of adult individuals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fully licensed by the state of Colorado to provide clinical behavioral and mental health counseling as a professional counselor, advanced generalist social worker or clinical social worker.
- 1-3 years of experience providing one-to-one counseling in a telehealth setting.
- Experience working within models of psycho-social, and medical aspects of disability.
DUTIES
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to adults who are currently working, seeking to return to work, or transitioning work while navigating their WorkLife wellness Journey with chronic conditions.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Support clients to navigate complex dynamics and conflicts that impact their relationships and their WorkLife Journey.
- Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and objectives.
- Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and changing needs.
- Educate clients about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and healthy behaviors.
- Provide information on community resources and support networks.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing the counseling profession.
- Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Prepare accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments promptly.

- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists, when necessary for comprehensive client care.
- Stay current with developments in the field of counseling through ongoing training, workshops, and professional development.
- Engage in self-care practices to prevent burnout and maintain personal well-being.
- Utilize culturally sensitive and respectful communication and strategies to support clients with diverse backgrounds, including different races, religions, and sexual orientations.
- Proactively engage in supervision or mentorship as required by licensing regulations, and WorkLife Wellness.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to maintain a minimum running weekly average of 16 billable client hours per week.
- Must be able to complete documentation accurately and submit it on time per company policy.
- Must have the ability to perform telehealth services that comply with service requirements including confidentiality and privacy.
- Must have access to a secure and private workspace for telehealth sessions, including a reliable internet connection and a computer with a camera and microphone.
- Must be able to participate in periodic mandatory remote company meetings and training.
- Must be able to provide and publish a consistent work schedule, and monitor that schedule for new and existing client and administrative appointments.
