This role is a key part of the Human Resources team, working closely with leadership in a manufacturing environment to deliver effective HR services.
You'll play a vital role in areas like training, employee engagement, policy management, new plant start-ups, and compliance.
Additionally, you will provide backup support to HR Business Partners, offering guidance on investigations, employee relations, and adherence to regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with HR and Manufacturing leaders to identify training needs, develop relevant materials, and maintain training records.
- Lead the relocation process for new manufacturing facilities, guiding leadership through the relocation policy and partnering with teams like Accounting and HR to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives, ensuring consistent communication and rollout across manufacturing plants.
- Advise on policies, benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, and best practices while ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Keep manufacturing teams informed about local, state, and federal regulatory changes and ensure timely communication of new requirements.
- Oversee the employment testing process, identifying opportunities for improvement and setting new benchmarks.
- Support plant leadership and HR teams in handling employee relations concerns, investigations, and issue resolution.
- Manage HRIS reporting to provide data-driven insights and suggest improvements.
- Track turnover rates, propose retention strategies, and participate in employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR role
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and coach employees across all levels.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Effective problem-solving, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and priorities.
- Experience using HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
