About The Position
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. In this role, you will operate a CT scanner to capture detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures, assisting physicians in diagnosing a variety of medical conditions.
You will be responsible for patient positioning, preparing and operating the equipment, and ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate CT Equipment : Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging of the body’s internal structures.
- Patient Preparation : Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
- Image Quality and Protocols : Ensure the highest quality of images by following established protocols and adjusting settings (e.
g., contrast, exposure) based on patient characteristics.
- Administer Contrast Agents : Administer intravenous (IV) contrast agents or oral contrast as prescribed by the physician, following all safety protocols and monitoring patients for allergic reactions.
- Maintain Patient Safety : Monitor patients during the procedure, ensuring their safety and comfort, while maintaining radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
- Equipment Maintenance : Ensure proper functionality of CT equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report major malfunctions to the appropriate technical support personnel.
- Collaboration with Medical Team : Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure timely, accurate imaging results for diagnosis and treatment.
- Record Keeping : Accurately document procedures, patient data, and images in the medical record. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Sterile Environment : Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the imaging area and follow infection control protocols.
- Continuing Education : Stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques, and participate in ongoing training as required.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications :
Education :
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, with a specialization or certification in CT (Computed Tomography) .
Licensing / Certification :
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R.T.) and / or CT is required (or eligible for certification).
- Valid state license (if applicable) for radiologic technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience :
Previous experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred, with specific experience in CT imaging preferred but not required.
