Excellent opportunity to be part of an outstanding multidisciplinary Institute, co-founded by Esther Deblinger, PhD, co-developer of Trauma-Focused CBT, committed to developing and providing the highest caliber evidenced-based clinical services.

Responsibilities include providing psychosocial evaluations and / or comprehensive psychological evaluations (extended forensic evaluations) with children in suspected cases of child abuse / trauma and providing evidence-based therapy to children who have experienced abuse and other traumas.

Participation in CARES’ self-care and professional development opportunities as well. Therapy services are provided in-person and / or by telehealth, and we offer the possibility of some remote work.

Full-time position with excellent benefits.

Psychologist candidates must possess a Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. and be licensed in NJ or eligible for a NJ unsupervised permit.

Our campus is located approximately 15 miles from center city Philadelphia, 1 hour from the beach, and 2 hours from New York City.

Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52 : 14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70).

Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.

Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
