Overview
A client located in Centerport, NY (Long Island) is seeking a part-time housekeeper to start as soon as possible. The schedule is one to two full days per week of the candidate's choosing, with a minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per week.
The current property will most likely be put up for sale in the fall or winter of this year. As such, the main responsibility during the next few months is preparing and keeping the house ready to show to buyers.
Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of the home
- Decluttering and organizing
- Occasionally running errands for donations, storage, and groceries
- Cleaning outside patio and patio furniture as needed
- There are two teenagers in the home who may very rarely need occasional assistance
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with an eye for maintaining the quality of the home.
- Excellent communicator
Requirements
- Animal friendly as there are two dogs in the home who will not require care but the candidate must be comfortable around dogs
- Valid driver's license and car
- Legal to work in the US
Salary and Benefits
- $30-35 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement for running any work-related errands
