ProCare Therap is actively seeking Special Education Teachers in Austin, TX for the 2024 / 25 School Year!
Position Location : Austin, TX
Start Date : Immediate
Contract End Date : May 23, 2025
Work Schedule : Full-time
Caseload Details : Multiple roles available, including Elementary Life Skills, Resource Room, Self-contained classrooms, and one High School Resource Room
Salary : $32$40 per hour, depending on experience
Role Overview :
We are urgently looking for dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Austin, TX. This full-time position is crucial for providing customized educational support to students with various needs.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing student progress, and ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities :
- Design and execute tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to facilitate academic and personal growth.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Modify instructional methods and materials to address diverse student requirements.
- Regularly evaluate student performance and make necessary adjustments to teaching techniques.
Qualifications Required :
- Active Special Education Certification / Licensure in Texas
- For those applying for the High School position, a Math certification is also required
- Previous experience in a special education setting is preferred
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or a related discipline; Masters Degree is highly desirable
