Job Summary :
We are in search of a passionate and professional Wellness Director that will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of programs and services that promote the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our facility's residents.
The Wellness Director must possess strong leadership and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and outside healthcare providers.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and oversee the implementation of wellness programs and services that meet the physical, emotional, and mental needs of the facility's residents, including fitness programs, social activities, spiritual support, and health education.
- Collaborate with the facility's leadership team and healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans for each resident that promote overall wellness.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to senior living and healthcare.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff members who assist with wellness programs and services.
- Manage the budget for wellness programs and services and maintain accurate records of expenses.
- Communicate regularly with residents and their families to assess needs, preferences, and satisfaction with wellness programs and services.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and services and make adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
- Coordinate with outside healthcare providers, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care.

Requirements :
- Associate degree required Bachelors degree preferred.
- Active LPN or RN license within the state of practice preferred.
- 2-3 experience in Assisted Living
- Current CPR certification required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and outside healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to senior living and healthcare.
- Experience managing budgets and maintaining accurate records of expenses.
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office, with the capacity to master company specific software.
- Ability to problem solve and demonstrate good judgment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for working with older adults and promoting their overall well-being.
