Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Facilities Security Officer to join our team in the DMV area .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) leads the physical security of unclassified and classified workspaces used for ICON activity, in accordance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements.

For ICON Commercial Team members, the FSO III provides consultative services to ensure workspaces meet the required security configurations (demise walls, alarm systems, code-lock doors, security guards, etc.

per the classification level and in compliance with NISPOM. They maintain records of visitors and secure storage container accesses, as required by the classification level for the facility.

The Facility Security Officer III is a senior role responsible for all aspects of physical security of both classified and unclassified workspaces associated with ICON.

They interact with the Facility Manager. The Facility Security Officer (FSO) III supervises and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

Basic Qualifications :

High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

5 years of position-specific relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification.

Clearance Requirements :

Must be a US Citizen

Must have an active Top Secret clearance

Physical Requirements :

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations

For all positions requiring access to technology / software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.

S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
