Summary :
IPConfigure is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Oversee financial reporting activities, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and provide financial information for business planning and decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
