- Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician’s orders, hospital policies and procedures;
and departmental standards of care and standards of practice.
Responsibilities :
- Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
- Evaluates patient / resident response to respiratory therapy and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Provides education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
- Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment.
- Maintains records, reports, and other documentation related to the work.
Requirement Description
2+ years of experience - Required
Ventilator, Bipap, ICU, ER, and ABG trained therapist - Required
ACLS - Preferred
