Summary :
The Director, Head of Client Service & Operations for the National Deposits Group will lead Huntington in the development and execution of a targeted servicing and operations strategy to drive the deposit and treasury management growth strategy.
This Director role for National Deposits is responsible for the development of an onboarding, operations and service delivery model for all the products and services, through the development of a world class onboarding, operations and servicing strategy.
This strategy may leverage existing teams within Huntington along with vendor-based workflow applications and proprietary development by the Huntington Tech team.
The expectation is for this person to be a strategic middle office leader with deep knowledge of the verticals housed within the National Deposits group inclusive of select industries including homeowner associations, property managers, HOA intermediaries, qualified intermediaries including 1031 exchange firms, attorney banking, escrow servicing, title companies, project finance and M&A.

Major Areas of Accountability :
Develop a high-impact, results oriented client & process focused strategy and roadmap that leads to the initiation of sustainable and deep relationships with homeowner associations, property managers, qualified intermediaries including 1031 exchange firms, title companies and agents, investment banks, private equity firms, top law firms, venture capital firms and others in need of best-in-class escrow and treasury management products and services.
Contribute to the development of the go-to-market-strategy and playbook to drive new customer and deposit generation. Differentiate the business with a leading onboarding, operations and client service strategy.
Maintain knowledge of banking products and services, and the industry and market areas served. Keep abreast of current servicing and operational developments (inside / outside Huntington) and market trends, including the development of technology and other service delivery vehicles, to further advance our competitive advantage and service the customers' needs.
Identify opportunities to actively cross-sell all banking products and services as appropriate. Presents and participates in creative solutions to meet customers' needs.
Manages customer and prospect relationships, referring sales partners or other associates as appropriate to carry sales relationships to completion.
Work across the bank to create and continue to refine well-documented, repeatable and scalable processes and procedures that drive certainty of execution and customer experience while keeping the bank safe and compliant with all banking regulations and state laws.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related filed
- 10+ years in deposit based / treasury products / cash management
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with the development and service delivery of products and services that lead to stable deposits, treasury management fees, and other bank product revenue from several select industries including homeowner associations, property managers, and qualified intermediaries, project finance, law firms and M&A
- Excellent communication, organization and project management skills and ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions
