The Moritz Law Library has the most extensive law library collection in Ohio. The library is an integral part of the vibrant intellectual life at the College.
We seek a Law Librarian who is committed to our high level of excellence and service. The principal responsibilities of this position include providing, in a service-oriented environment, sophisticated research and reference assistance to faculty, students and other patrons of the Moritz Law Library, and teaching the first year Legal Analysis and Writing course or an advanced legal research course.
The Law Librarian will also take part in the evaluation and selection of information resources, work on special projects, and serve on Law Library, College of Law, and University committees.
Some evening and weekend hours are required. A candidate hired for this position will be eligible to be considered for appointment to the University Libraries Professional Practice Faculty.
Required Education : Doctoral / Professional in Law and Master's in Library Science preferred
The target hiring range is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
