POSITION AND REQUIREMENTS : Must have valid Respiratory Care License in the state of MassSuccessful completion of National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT) examStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary duties are caring for Ventilator patients.
The therapist will work closely with Department Director or Nurse Practitioner to provide optimal ventilator settings and weaning parametersChange tracheostomy tubes as scheduled and prnSets up, applies and administers all forms of respiratory care as directed using a complete range of respiratory equipment, including ventilators, cough assist (MIE), respiratory medications, BIPAP and CPAP as neededResponsible for reviewing physician's orders pertaining to respiratory careAdheres to all company polices, procedures, and standards of conductExperience : RRT 1 year (Preferred)CRT 1 year (Preferred)New grads welcome- we will provide essential trainingFull and Part Time employees receive benefits according to company guidelines and eligibilityPer Diem therapist receive additional $2 per hour pay
