THE WORK
Provides technical and operational services to support Flight Simulator devices used for training personnel under simulated flying conditions.
In addition, will function as an Items Analyst to support Non-Air Vehicle Sustainment Item Management. Troubleshoots complex technical IT problems and issues, determines technical solution.
Maintains simulator documentation to include drawings, instructions, parts and software listings, by keeping them current, edited, and revised for future releases.
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, sets up administrator and user accounts, maintains current system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
Performs workstation Network Administration on all networks and ensures compliance to include upgrading, patching, and conducting weekly AV installs.
Monitors policies and standards for all locations related to the use of computing resources and coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Desired skills
Demonstrated experience maintaining and troubleshooting training and simulation equipment or comparable type systems
Network troubleshooting and maintenance experience
F-35 ALIS / CMMS / SCM Supply experience
Experience working in access controlled facilities.
Ability to brief / teach technical information to internal and external audiences.
Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for support
