Job Summary :

In this role, you have the opportunity to ensure the quality of our products meets the high demand requirements of the aerospace industry.

Position supports incoming inspection, in-process, and final inspection

Generating non-conforming material records in our Manufacturing Execution System.

Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to ensure that company standards are met.

Job Responsibility :

  • Perform inspection of product / subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection
  • Perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection.
  • Perform inspection of purged product as requested.
  • Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system.
  • Generate non-conformance / defect reports as required
  • Perform first article inspections to support the component / part qualification
  • Be able to read and interpret specifications and part prints
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Enforcing FOE / FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.
  • Communicates and assists in the resolution of quality related problems.
  • Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations

Required Qualification :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of PCBA inspection and IPC-A-610 certification or previous is required
  • Background in RF Microwave hybrid assembly (MIL-STD-883 or MIL-PRF-38534) is required
  • Experience with Cable Inspection, certification or previous to IPC-A-620 a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and / or AS9100 Quality System environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with little instruction on daily work
  • Knowledge of powerpoint, excel, word, outlook

Preferred Qualification :

  • Knowledge of plating and conversion coating specifications a plus
  • Knowledge of Aegis Factory Logix a plus
  • Experience working in aerospace / defense industry
