Job Description
The department plays a major role in all four years of the medical school curriculum. Our department has a significant presence in the Dean’s Office, including the role of dean, associate deans, and curriculum directors.
We also play a major role in facilitating different outreach activities to different underserved and vulnerable groups, including people who are unfunded, rural, and / or currently unhoused.
There is also room for growth and involvement with this outreach to underserved communities in partnership with the medical students.
The department has a highly successful required core clerkship that sends students around the state.
This represents a tremendous opportunity to balance primary care practice with involvement with our medical students!
Minimum Requirements :
Medical Doctor degree
Ideal Candidates :
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine
- Significant experience in education
