Account Manager
Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their organization. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships, providing technical support, and identifying new opportunities for motion control products.
This role is onsite in Vancouver, Washington.
Account Manager Responsibilities
- Manage assigned OEM customer accounts to support client's growth objectives and proactively resolve potential issues.
- Provide both sales and technical support for existing and new OEM accounts.
- Regularly contact assigned OEM accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and continuity of relationships.
- Support custom product requests, collaborating closely with management and engineering teams for design objectives, pricing, and lead times.
- Attend and support trade show events as directed by the management team.
- Generate customer sales reports, track sales performance against targets, blanket POs, and sales agreements.
- Travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally, as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
- Coordinate with technical and customer support teams regarding customer needs, concerns, and RMA processes.
- Prioritize and escalate customer issues or concerns to management when necessary.
- Update job knowledge by staying informed about new product developments and participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplish department and organizational goals by accepting ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Account Manager Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent combined education and work experience, with a focus on industrial controls and automation.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer relations / sales experience in the industrial marketplace, demonstrating a proven track record.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to innovate and develop efficient organizational methods.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and drive change while meeting or exceeding business objectives.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with a thorough understanding of sales processes and customer buying behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage work within defined workflow processes.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Capable of performing basic physical tasks such as lifting 25 lbs and maintaining nimbleness for typing and writing.
Salary : $90,000 / year.
