We are looking for a talented attorney to help support some of our most cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives, as we continue to bring delightful new products and services to our customers around the world.
In this role, you will provide legal guidance on responsible AI development and innovative responsible AI tools and products.
Key Job Responsibilities
You will advise one or more business teams and business leaders as a product counsel supporting AGI's responsible AI teams.
You will partner with product managers, scientists, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide guidance on AI model development and innovative products to help teams build responsibly by design.
And you’ll do all of this with support from and in collaboration with a dynamic, experienced, and global team of lawyers at Amazon Legal.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience in private practice or in-house experience at a technology company or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700 / year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
