It is the responsibility of the Professional Nurse to implement the Hospital's mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities.

Implementation of these goals occurs through organization and administration of individualized age-specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital.

The understanding of the principles of growth and development will be incorporated to assess each patient's age-specific needs and determine age-specific treatment modalities.

Trinitas Intensive Care Unit is a newly expanded unit with an additional 3 beds to its previous 22 bed capacity. It is a collaborative closed 25 bed capacity mixed with medical and surgical cases under Intensivist Care Program.

We provide management of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance.

Our care management consists of care bundles based on evidence-based practices that are executed with compassion and care.

Educational Skills Required Degree, Certification, License,+ Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association upon hire+ Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of employment+ Required National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 1 year of employment+ Maintain Joint Commission Readiness+ Maintain CEUsAdditional Details : Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a full-service healthcare facility serving those living and working in Eastern and Central Union counties.
