- Oversees CNAs and training.
- Assist in medical procedures.
- Maintains accurate patient records.
- Consult with RNs on care plan.
- Explains procedures and treatment protocols to residents.
- Monitoring resident care abd supervising other nursing staff.
- Prepare patients for transfers or discharge.
- Assist physicians during rounds of residents' rooms.
- Assigns and delegate duties to CNAs.
- Giving medication as prescribed by the physician.
- Interview patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
