Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Administrative Assistant in Washington, DC. This is a contract opportunity for a growing, fast paced, and professional company.

This role entails providing general administrative support to the office and specific departments as needed. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and ready to support a busy office.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
  • Maintain and re-stock common areas
  • Answer phones, schedules meetings, greets clients & broad range of other administrative duties
  • Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, email, mail, etc.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, processing, scanning, etc.
  • Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
  • Prepare equipment and common workrooms or operation daily (restocking inventory, putting paper in copier, changing toner cartridges, etc.)
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock and reporting to CST Team Members when inventory is low
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail (receiving, scanning, distributing, etc.) and sending out UPS packages
  • Assist with coordinating office meetings / meals / events
  • Run office errands as needed
  • Drafting tax arrangement letters

Skills :

  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to perform tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Must possess wonderful organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all different levels

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM

Employment Type : Contract, Full Time
