A school district in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a committed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. We seek an SLP with CCC credentials to join one of our campuses starting at 8 am.
This full-time position entails working 193 days for the entire school year.
Position Details :
- Caseload : Approximately 50-60 students, with an SLPA to assist.
- Supervision : The SLP will need to supervise the SLPA.
- Schedule : Full-time, 193 days for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Location : Serving the Tolleson district and surrounding areas including Glendale, Phoenix, Buckeye, and Peoria.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Supervise and collaborate with the SLPA.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications :
- Must have a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP certification required.
- Previous experience as an SLP is preferred.
- Ability to supervise an SLPA.
