Role Description
This is a contract / freelance hybrid role for a Handbag Designer for the American Leather Co. brand. You will be responsible for creating and developing innovative and trend-setting handbag designs that align with our brand's aesthetic and target market.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and production, to ensure the successful execution of designs.
Your creativity and attention to detail will play a vital role in maintaining our brand's reputation for exceptional and high-quality leather handbags.
Qualifications
- A strong passion for fashion and a keen eye for design
- Proven experience as a Handbag Designer, specifically working with leather
- Proficiency in sketching and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of current fashion trends and consumer preferences
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
- Flexibility to adapt to changing design requirements and market demands
