Our work depends on Software Developer joining our team to utilize your skills as a front end developer, with a focus on UI and some accessibility.
DESCRIPTION :
Customer is seeking an experienced UI / UX Developer capable of working within a software development team to provide accessible front end design modifications.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Experience developing medium to large-scale applications; testing, linting, and adherence to coding / web standards.
- Hands-on experience with at least one : React, Vue. Vue is preferred.
- Solid understanding of usability and accessibility standards including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Proven experience of practice knowledge working in Agile Projects from user stories and backlog management to acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Fundamental experience with design principles, and component library creation
- Comfortable with Git and the Command Line
- Comfortable working in the Browser ecosystem, including concepts like the DOM and CSS's cascade
- Comfortable identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, theming, etc.)
- Comfortable working in and defining common UI grid layouts
- Implement the product's lifecycle : Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
- Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process
DESIRED SKILLS :
- Documented Experience with DevOps / Platforms : Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience with developing in Ruby / Ruby on Rails;

The likely salary range for this position is $115,256 - $155,934. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
