Summary : Reporting to the AVP of Retail Administration with guidance and direction from the Regional Managers the Regional Operations Analyst acts as a liaison between retail administration and branch offices to provide administrative and operational analysis and support to ensure the operational continuity of the branches.
This position requires routine travel to assigned Regional Branches to work closely with branch associates. The Regional Operations Analyst is also responsible for providing administrative support to Retail Administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Performs Branch reviews and identifies operational trends and training opportunities in accordance with guidelines
- Identifies operational risks and develops strategies to mitigate risk. Identifies, researches and promptly resolves errors.
- Acts as a peer mentor and helps to create operational continuity standards throughout assigned region.
- Reviews Retail Branches operational, regulatory, policy and procedural compliance, including but not limited to BSA and CIP, ensuring satisfactory internal and external audits.
Meets with Internal Control to review Branch Audit.
Monitors and provides Operational data analysis on the following : new account opening errors, CIP, BSA reporting and internal logs and forms documentation on a monthly basis.
Provide recommendations for additional training or best practices.
- Ensures established processes are followed and systems are in place to identify and resolve compliance and operational errors and policy exceptions.
- Meets with new Branch Leadership associates to review procedures and resources.
- Utilizes advanced knowledge of bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to provide operational and regulatory training and guidance to all Branch associates, reporting policy violations and operational performance issues to the Branch Leadership team.
- Provides after hours support with check scanning and / or balancing issues.
- Works and travels to branch locations and corporate office in MA and CT as needed and assigned on a daily basis.
- Acts a backup to other Regional Operations Analyst as needed.
- Provides administrative support to Retail Administration functions including : Monthly reconciliations and reporting, updating, developing procedures and administrative duties such as reporting, user access reviews and bank projects.
- Monitors Branch Cash Levels.
- Provides CIP exception reporting to Banking Centers. Provides BCVC / RM Monthly CIP Reporting.
- Reconciles Overs and Shorts Reporting, Eastern GL and Suspense Retail GL.
- Completes Quarterly User access reviews : Card at Once, ACBB, CETO, Recycler, Official Check and Performance Standard review.
- Completes Annual Reviews of : FDICIA, GLBA, Disaster Recovery, ChexSystems, iDentifi and COCC user access review.
- Schedule annual Compliance, ABA and security trainings. Monitors and Logs Branch Compliance Trainings to ensure completion of associate training.
- Facilitates Core Upgrades and documentation.
- Stay abreast of banking center technology and supports the implementation of new products and services.

Education and / or Experience : Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of five years banking related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills needed :

- Extensive knowledge and required acknowledgement of regulations including but not limited to : Reg CC, Reg DD, Privacy, Security, BSA, Fair Lending, CIP, Reg E. skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to successfully work and travel to bank and branch locations in MA and CT as needed and assigned
- Ability to successfully complete required on the job training and demonstrate competency in accordance with company guidelines.
- Certifications, Licenses and / or registrations : This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration;
and ability to obtain said license after a period to be determined by decisionmaker. Must be able to successfully complete the registration process, which includes, but is not limited to, undergoing a criminal background and credit check and must remain in compliance with the NMLS license regulations and rules.
This position requires driving for work; and which includes but is not limited to possession of a valid driver’s license, undergoing driving record check and maintenance of acceptable driving record.

Computer Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other banking software programs.
