About The Position
Job Title : Medical Technologist Job Specialty : Core Laboratory Generalist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology required License : None specified Certifications : ASCP certification required in MLT or MLS Must-Have : Experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology Job Description : Perform clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Analyze samples in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology departments.- Maintain accuracy, precision, and quality control of all laboratory tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with laboratory instruments.- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols in the laboratory environment.
- Document and report test results in a timely and efficient manner.- Collaborate effectively with other laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
