Job Summary : As the Vice President of Finance / Director of Finance at ARK Products, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for hands on execution of all financial aspects of the company.

This position requires a seasoned finance professional with expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic financial management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving financial performance, managing financial risk, and providing strategic guidance to support business growth and expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting :

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide insightful analysis and interpretation of financial results to the executive team and board of directors.

Financial Management :

• Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the executive team, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term growth initiatives.
• Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements as well as industry standards related to financial reporting and disclosure.

Risk Management :

• Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial interests.
• Implement effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.

Cash Flow Management :

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
• Optimize cash management processes and treasury functions to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Strategic Financial Planning :

• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the executive team, contributing to the development and execution of business strategies and growth initiatives.
• Evaluate financial implications of business decisions and investment opportunities, recommending courses of action to enhance shareholder value.

Team Leadership :

• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to finance team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
• Oversee HR and IT functions, budgets, processes, and personnel.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications :

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as Vice President of Finance or Director of Finance, preferably within the consumer products, ecommerce, or manufacturing sectors.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong track record of financial management and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
