The Logistics Coordinator 2 is responsible for the storage and distribution of goods through on-time delivery to the right location(s).
Additionally, this role may be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am 3 : 30pm. Pay rate is $20 hourly. Candidates must meet all the requirements to be considered for the position.
Job Description
- Unload and stage all inbound shipments
- Maintain receiving files for all inbound shipments
- Uses RF scan gun to receive and put away inbound material shipments, pick parts for the production line, return parts to WMS storage, and deliver parts to the appropriate PSA staging location
- Process service orders, move materials between locations and creates PSA pull sheets utilizing SAP
- Keeps production staging orderly and brings all parts to the line clearly labeled
- Performs cycle count by physically counting parts within specific SAP locations and documenting results
- Apply graphics to customization orders
- Pick / pack service orders
- Program controllers for service orders
- Pull, stage and load finished goods and accessories for outbound shipments
- Create, process and maintain shipping paperwork
- Audit and post an outbound orders
- Seeks and participates in personal development activities
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, suggest changes to increase efficiency and / or improve operations
- Perform general administrative activities (ie. copying, filing, delivering documents, and attending meetings)
- Applies 5s standards and Stand Work to maintain a neat and efficient work area
- Understand and applies all safety measures associated with assigned work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of MS Office Software to include Word, Excel, and Shipping Programs such as Federal Express or UPS systems
- Experience with SAP
- AHT Certified Forklift Operator
- Understanding of lean concepts
- Working knowledge of ISO
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics within a manufacturing environment or combination of education and experience
- Achieve and maintain skills qualifications as a Logistics Coordinator 2
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, understand basic documents, drawings, diagrams
Physical requirements
- Must be able to walk / move about a 144,000 sq ft manufacturing facility : 100% of the time
- Must be able to stand / walk / move about specific work area : 100% of the time
- Must be able to bend / reach / twist / stoop : 90% of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on a frequent basis : 50% of the time
- Must be able to work and operate a computer : 50% of the time
