The Shipping Department at New England Biolabs (NEB) is inviting applicants for the position of Materials Handler. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, quick learner who thrives in a team environment.
This is a full-time job from 7 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm.
Primary Responsibilities :
Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by picking and packing orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
Process shipments utilizing electronic SAP / ERP system.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse / on the shelves to maintain inventory.
Operate forklifts and other equipment to move freight.
Perform and report cycle counts.
Occasionally support the Shipping team in the NEB Rowley facility when needed.
Act as backup on the domestic shipping line when needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience :
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of shipping / material handler experience.
Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with pallet jacks and ability to lift 50 lbs. as necessary.
Must be attentive, courteous, and helpful within a team environment.
Basic computer skills required, SAP experience a plus.
